Guess the Line (guesstheline.app) is a play-along game. You call over or under on each NFL team’s posted win total. After the season, your calls are graded against the teams’ actual records and ranked against the other people in your pool.

There is no entry fee, no money changes hands, and nothing is won or lost except bragging rights.

The win-total numbers and the hosts’ calls are transcribed from a publicly available podcast episode. Transcription errors are possible. We may correct a line, a call or a result when we find one wrong.

You can change your picks up to the lock time shown on the board. After that, picks and pools are frozen. Standings are computed by the rules the app applies to everyone the same way, and on any dispute our call is final.

Anyone holding a pool link can view that pool. Whether to pass your link along is up to you.

We may remove an account for abuse: offensive display names, impersonating someone else, or tampering with the game.

The service is provided as is, with no warranty. It may change or shut down at any time. We are not liable for outages or for lost data beyond what the law requires.

Guess the Line is for people 13 or older. Any change to these terms is posted on this page, with the date below updated.
